The majority of our work is compliance based to fulfil both filing and tax obligations for individuals, partnerships, companies and LLPs.
The preparation of accounts on a more timely basis during the accounting period to assist management with the financial control and other areas of the business.
To a limited degree we can offer bookkeeping services provided the work can be done remotely and on no more than a monthly basis.
We can advise on registration, de-registration, special schemes and more specific matters as well as assist with the preparation and online submission of the quarterly VAT return.
Another significant area for us is the preparation of personal tax returns for individuals including the calculation of tax and national insurance due and dealing with specific queries and planning matters.
For those clients where we also prepare accounts we assist in the preparation and filing of the annual corporation tax return again including calculation of the tax liability.
We can deal with the Revenue in the event of an enquiry into either an individual’s or company’s tax affairs. We would correspond and meet directly with the Revenue on a client’s behalf and if necessary assist in the negotiation of final settlements, interest and penalties.
Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax
We provide advice in both these areas in particular for planning and compliance purposes.
We run a small payroll bureau processing both weekly and monthly payrolls. We make all necessary submissions, as required by RTI regulations, and notify deductions of PAYE and NI due. We can also assist in the completion of the annual returns of benefits and reimbursed expenses, forms P11D.
Whilst we do not offer ourselves to act as company secretary for any company, we can provide assistance with the obligations of this role including the completion of various forms in particular the Annual Return, and the maintenance of statutory books.
We provide a registered office service such that our address becomes the formal address of a company filed at Companies House which is then used for all correspondence from Companies House as well as being the address to which all legal documents are required to be served. This is the only address openly available on enquiry at Companies House.
